Weekday & Weekend Usage Fees. Automatically set different usage fees for weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays. These varying fees are applicable to both flat and hourly event pricing. Note that these variable usage fees are only available to districts that use Group Classifications.

Group Classifications. Customize what types of Groups require Business Office approval.

Automatic deposit invoicing. Select a 50% deposit to be invoiced automatically upon Facility Use Request approval including any support staff or equipment fees.

Invoice before or after event. Set invoicing to occur upon Request approval or after the approved event has occurred.

Centralized insurance data. Automatically check external Group insurance expiration date to allow Request submission and post insurance certificates to Group profiles.

Enter Facility Requests down to the minute
(1/29/2018) ML Schedules™ K12 Facility Request Software now allows users to enter requests in one-minute intervals.

While the software's Time filters still display in 15-minute increments, users can double-click on the field to enter the desired time in minutes. When making requests, the software will automatically match the Minutes field End Time with the value entered in the Start Time field.

For example, if as user enters 11:17am as the request Start Time, the software will pick up the "17" value and use it for the request's End Time (e.g., 11:47am).

Thanks to the many subscribing school districts that provided valuable input for this new feature.

New “Additional Charges” fields available to apply to Facility Use Requests
(12/6/2017) Have you ever wanted to apply an Additional Charge to a submitted Facility Use Request without having to setup a custom field in ML Schedules™ Software?

With our new Additional Charge feature, District Admins can easily create an Additional Charge category (e.g, Microphone Fee or Custodial Fee) and then apply that category to a submitted Facility Use Request.

Additional Charges are calculated based on three Admin-entered variables:
  • Quantity
  • Hours
  • Rate
Admins can change these variables on the fly. Entries made to a Request are specific to that instance and can be changed for another Request.

Move a canceled Facility Use Request back to Pending status
(11/22/2017) ML Schedules™ Software now provides the ability to reactivate canceled Facility Use Requests and return them to Pending status.

This new feature is especially helpful when a Facility Use Request has been cancelled due to expired or non-existent Group insurance certificates. Once updated insurance information has been uploaded and entered in the Group Profile, district users with the appropriate permissions can retrieve the group’s canceled Request and easily return it to pending for approval or other action.

An email is automatically sent to both the requestor and the first person in the space’s Request approval path when this new feature is used.
