Have you ever wondered how the number of work orders or event requests you receive in a day compares to other school districts? Where do you stand compared to other districts your size? With customers from Maine to Hawaii, we think about work orders and event requests every day and some of the data that we have might be interesting to see where you stand. Our dataOur data for this exercise is blind data, meaning it is de-identified to a specific customer. We wanted to look at aggregate data across all of our customers. This data is from the last 6 months. We split our customers into 3 sizes: Small, Medium, Large. Small: Student enrollment under 1,000 Medium: Student enrollment between 1,000 - 10,000 Large: Student enrollment over 10,000 Work OrdersOn average, how many new work orders are submitted at your school district every day? Here's how the averages break out for our customers. Our data shows that work orders roughly double as we go from small to medium and medium to large. There seems to be a direct correlation with student size and work order volume, which is not a surprise. Event RequestsHow many new event and space requests does your district get per day? Here's what our customer data shows on average. Our data shows that event requests do not follow the same linear path as work orders. Event requests do increase as district size increases, but it's not as dramatic. So how does your district stack up? If you're managing your work orders and event requests manually, it will be hard to know. Having data on your facilities at your fingertips will help you make better decisions and run your facilities more efficiently.
