This week, we held our quarterly user group meeting to review some of our new features. Below is a recap of what was covered. We are always evolving our products and are grateful to our user community for the collaboration we have with all of you. Many of the new features come as a direct result of your input and thoughtfulness into how to make MasterLibrary better. With that, let's take a closer look! Groups Can Edit Their Own Requests Admins now have the ability to allow Requestors from a Group to edit their own requests once they are submitted. You control how many days prior to the event date the requestor is allowed to make an edit. So if you don't want a group editing their event information 4 days or less to the event, you simply update the new field called "Days Notice to Edit Request" to 4. You can make this privilege available by group classification. Editing a request will restart the approval process. Multiple Choice Fields Our field choices have expanded to include multi-select and single-select multiple choice fields. As you have unlimited fields to create for your request forms, multiple choice fields are useful in controlling options available to your requestors instead of a free form field. Multiple choice fields can be created in the Manage Fields section. Past Due Notifications Our invoices have been updated to auto-stamp "Past Due" on all invoices that have a due date in the past. This reinforces the urgency of payment to your paying groups without spending admin time manually noting "Past Due" on the invoice or email. It's simple yet very impactful! Submit Work Orders via Email
Submitting work orders for your district stakeholders just got a lot easier! ML Work Orders now makes it possible to submit a work order through a simple email. The email will come into the system and go through the typical admin/assignment process as if it was being submitted inside of the system. The requestor will get a confirmation email back to them that the work order was submitted successfully and will be notified as it changes status. Required Notes Admins of the system now have the ability to make a note required when adjusting the status of a work order. This is helpful to increase communication and note important details of the work order between the party working on the issue and the requestor. Mass Inventory Update We have extended the capabilities of the Mass Update permission to include the inventory module. Mass updating inventory is helpful in cases when you have the same or similar inventory items stored in different buildings, closets, etc. that need to be updated. Instead of updating each instance of the inventory, you can update them all at once. This is helpful when the price per unit needs to be changed, or you are switching vendors and need to note that in the system. .................................. For any of our customers that did not make it to our User Group meeting this week and would like to learn more, please email us at success@masterlibrary.com to receive a recording of the meeting. You can also check our support portals and click "Release Notes" to see more detailed information on all of our new features and how to manage them in the system. Comments are closed.
