Earlier this week, we held our quarterly user group webinar to highlight some of our new features that were released this quarter. Below is a recap of some of the content that was covered. Thank you, as always, to our passionate users who provide us with many of the new feature ideas each quarter. With that, let's take a closer look! Adding a space or date to an existing request Users now have the ability to add additional spaces or dates to their own existing requests. This feature is especially handy when an event is scheduled and the requestor has more demand than anticipated for the event and needs to add space. Instead of creating a new request, they can simply find more available space and add it to the request. This also helps keep invoicing clean after the fact. Manage Budget Codes Admins now have the ability to create budget codes and descriptions and tag them to requests or events and connect them to their invoices. With budget codes in place, users have another level of financial reporting that they can perform inside of ML Schedules. Restarting the Approval Path Approvals can now be restarted while a request is in pending status. A use case for this feature would be a scenario where a staff member declines an event due to invalid insurance from the group. A few days later the group updates their account and presents the district with a new, valid insurance document. A district user could move the event from Declined to Pending in order to resend the event through the approval process and allow the status to be changed. Updated User Permissions Updated permissions inside of roles allows users to assign specific actions and rights to users. Within a role you can customize the permissions they have. Permissions are the capabilities and access that users have inside of ML Work Orders. This update presents a new look and organization to permissions to make it easier to find and assign them. Updated User Roles User roles have been updated to be more granular, such as assigning a role to a specific building or request type. Adding or editing roles for a user has become much easier through the new Role Management table. Mobile Updates We have made a number of mobile friendly user interface updates to make it easier to view and work in ML Work Orders on a mobile device. ![]() For any of our customers that did not make it to our User Group meeting this week and would like to learn more, we encourage you to join our new User Community on Facebook Groups. We have the full recording of the webinar available in the group and it also a place for users to talk about and share best practices. Comments are closed.
